Art shows are a great opportunity for students to showcase their creativity!  At Martino Jr. High we participate in multiple art shows each year, in addition to contest submissions as they arise.

FAAM Fest!

The annual event is held at Lincoln-Way East high school and showcases talent from the entire Lincoln-Way Community.  We are able to display about 30 students' work each year and the NLSD art teachers offer a hands-on Printmaking workshop!

IAEA Student Show (Juried show)

This is an annual show in which hundreds of artwork is submitted and very few are able to be chosen. It is a great honor and students who have their work accepted are invited to an special reception in November at the Illinois Art Education Association Conference.  Their piece will travel for one year to various locations across the entire state of Illinois.
