  2. Attendance will be taken every block and every day - you need to be on time

  3. When you join a Zoom class you will be placed in a “waiting room” until the teacher admits you

  4. Grades will count - this is not a pass/fail grade

  5. You may only use your school issued iPad for live Zoom instructions

  6. If you have technology issues please contact the technology department (tech-help@nlsd122.org)

  7. No phones during class

  8. Stay on Zoom tab and do not browse other tabs while in class (unless instructed to do so)

  9. Do not leave the class meeting until it has been ended by the teacher

  10. Be prepared with appropriate class supplies (textbook, ipad, pen/pencil, highlighters, paper, and assignment notebook)

  11. You will need to change your name when entering Zoom. Please use your full name (first and last). You may use an appropriate nickname if you do not use your proper first name

Ex: Jonathan = John

  1. Leave your video on at all times and mute your microphone

  2. You may ask appropriate questions by “raising your hand” or through chat

  3. Choose an appropriate work space for class. Your bed is not considered appropriate. Remember you will need to read, write and highlight material so find a flat surface with plenty of space. Ex: kitchen table, desk, etc.

  4. Since ELA has a lot of curriculum to cover, be prepared for 50 minutes of live instruction on most days.

  5. If you have questions after school hours, emails will be answered the following school day.

  3. Do not leave the class meeting until it has been ended by the teacher

  4. You will be placed in breakout rooms during an assessment so you can ask the teacher questions individually
