My name is Lindsay Johnson, and I am the Instructional, Resource and Communication Development teacher at Arnold J. Tyler Elementary School this school year. This will be my tenth year teaching special education, and my sixth year with New Lenox School District. I love seeing my students succeed! In addition to teaching, I am also a dance instructor at Dance Images in Tinley Park. Teaching dance is a passion for me. I enjoy incorporating music and movement breaks that I have learned throughout my dance career, into the classroom.

My parents live in Tinley Park, where I grew up. I have a twin brother who also works in education and a younger brother. I am lucky enough to have two very adorable nephews and am anxiously awaiting the arrival of a new niece or nephew in September! I currently live in New Lenox with my husband Kurt and our dog, Piqué.
