Teaching is an absolute passion of mine! I am so excited to work with you and your child! It is going to be a year full of fun, learning, and lots of adventures. I cannot wait to see what this year has in store for us! I want to get to know all about you, but here’s a little about me first.
I live with my wonderful boyfriend Patrick. We have an energetic, Yorkshire Terrier puppy named Daphnie who takes up a lot of our free time. Puppy training is hard! Some hobbies of mine that I enjoy are crafting, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
I have lived in the south suburbs for most of my life. I went to Lincoln Way East High School and graduated from Illinois State University in 2013 with a degree in Elementary Education. After working with students with disabilities, I found a true passion and went back to school to obtain a Special Education certification from Lewis University.
This is my third year teaching the Excel program at Cherry Hill. I absolutely love teaching my students. It is my mission to instill a love for learning in my students. I attempt to teach with a passion so that my students develop a desire to become life-long learners. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. It is so important to keep communication open between us and I would love to talk to you whenever you feel the need. I look forward to a great year together!
