I graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I began my teaching career in 1998. I have been teaching in New Lenox since 1999. I received a Master's Degree in Teaching & Leadership from St. Xavier University in 2002.
It is my goal that your child succeeds academically and socially. Your child will find that my classroom is a positive and supportive environment. Our classroom community is based on respect, responsibility, and honesty.
My husband's name is Mark, and we have three wonderful sons. Ryan is in 6th grade, Carter is in 5th grade, and Jesse is in 2nd grade. We adopted two 1 year old dogs this year. We named the female Jolene, but we usually call her Jo Jo. We named the male Bruce after a character in my favorite book Matilda and Bruce the Shark in "Finding Nemo".

Favorite Thing About Teaching:
I love teaching because I love to share my love of reading and learning.
I enjoy running, reading, and spending time with my family and dogs.
