Grading is based primarily on participation, in-class activities, and projects. Each student is required to complete a daily bell ringer question at the beginning of each class that will count towards their overall participation grade.

Absent Work:

Students are expected to make-up all absent work. It is your responsibility to get your work from the absent bin and complete it on time. If absent, check the absent bin for the day(s) you were absent to receive your make-up work.

 Classroom Procedures:

  • Students must sign out on the classroom clipboard and use their assignment notebook to leave the class at anytime.
  • All completed work should be turned into the turn-in bin under your block number. (make sure your name/block number is on it)
  • If turning in late/absent work, write it on the top of the assignment.
  • If you finish your work early, there is an extra time activities bin you may use to work on additional material.

 Rules and Expectations:

The school step system will be followed in the classroom. In cases of disrespect or harassment, students will automatically receive a discipline referral and be sent to the office.

  • Class Rules:
  1.  Arrive on time to class.
  2. Follow directions the first time they are given.
  3. Give your undivided attention while the teacher or others are talking.
  4.  Work without disturbing others in class.
  5. Respect others and their belongings.
  6. Clean up appropriately and respect school property.
