About Me...
After high school, I attended Eastern Illinois University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree. I majored in zoology and also studied both psychology and chemistry. During the years that followed, I worked as a quality control laboratory technician and EMT for several years. However, I left the chemical production industry when I became pregnant with my first child to become a stay at home mom. I have two children; my daughter was born in 2000 and my son in 2002. I returned to school at Lewis University in 2006 and received my Master of Art degree in Education in 2008. I have been fortunate to teach at both Nelson Ridge and Nelson Prairie since that time. I truly enjoy and am thankful for my days spent teaching your children! In my free time, I love to spend time with my kids, extended family, and friends. We enjoy music, games, movies, our pets, and many outdoor activities.
