Reading Story: skills review week; focus on nonfiction; "Bat Loves the Night"
Reading Skills: sequence; skills review
Phonics: Lesson 22
Spelling: Lesson 22
Grammar: action verbs
Writing: continue "All About Me" writing project; narrative writing
Math: Unit 7 - Fractions
Students should be practicing their multiplication facts. We will take at least one timed test per week! Students should also be going on Reflex Math as many days as possible per week. We try to do at least 4 days a week in the classroom, but more is better! :-)
IXL is a skills-based math program that students should also try to use at home. Student passwords are the same, but usernames are slightly different - 122firstnamelastname@nlsd
Social Studies: Chapter 4 - "U.S. Government"
Science: traits of humans, animals, and plants; fossils
Please return the permission slip that went home for our science lesson.
PARCC TESTING ENDS TUESDAY, MARCH 14! Please be sure your child has working headphones at school. Encourage them to get a good night's sleep each night and eat a healthy breakfast. Students should continue bringing their daily healthy snacks. We will have snack after testing is completed each day.
Wear blue on Wednesdays for Trustworthiness!!
