About Me...

 Staff Photo

I am Mrs. Hollingsworth and I have been a classroom teacher from 1985-2004. I taught fourth, fifth and sixth grade at Bentley and Oakview School. In 2005 I became a school librarian. During the last eleven years I have been at Oakview and Haines. In 2015 my time has been split between three schools allowing me to introduce literature to children at Nelson Prairie too.

Quick Facts...

Years Teaching:

Favorite Book:

I love to read all kinds of children books. I can't say I have a favorite one, but I do enjoy reading a good mystery.

Graduated From:

Illinois State University

I enjoy being outside, running, bike riding and walking my dog.

I have two college age children that also attend Illinois State University. I have lived in New Lenox for the past 27 years.

Favorite Thing About Teaching:

I love to see how excited the children are when I read a good story to them. It always makes me happy when the children ask for me to help them find a book in the library that I have read to them in a previous class.
