I am currently in my twelfth year as a school social worker in New Lenox School District 122. Prior to working in New Lenox, I was a school social worker in Lemont, and I also worked in domestic violence shelters. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and have done private therapy with individuals and families through a community agency on the weekends. I also have a certification as a School Social Work Specialist through the National Association of Social Workers. I am a member of both the National Association of Social Workers, and also the Illinois Association of School Social Workers. I also have a masters in Educational Leadership. I rely heavily on research based treatments and curriculums, but also realize every single child is unique and requires their own individualized approach.

Favorite Thing About Teaching:
I am truly blessed to be able to say I absolutely love what I do and have a passion for helping others. I love children, and I absolutely love helping them and their families in any way I can. I can't think of anything else I would rather do!
Reading, playing the piano, and hanging out with my daughters.
I have two amazing daughters, and am the youngest of nine children. I consider myself very lucky to have an older brother with Autism.
