HELLO! My name is Jeanine Tustin and I am honored to be a teacher in New Lenox School District. I live in the area with my family, which includes my husband and three beautifully busy boys - ages 6, 8, and 10 years. We are often seen in the New Lenox community shopping and participating in sports.
I began my teaching career working as a daycare provider during college and then served as an early childhood special education teacher for seven years in Alsip. In 2008, my husband and I were blessed with our first child and I began my "at-home mother career." Eight years and three children later, I reentered the field of education as a preschool teacher in Manhattan. In 2017 I joined the Spencer Trail kindergarten staff as a special education teacher. It was a wonderful experience. This year I am excited to serve as a classroom teacher in the Red Neighborhood with some phenomenal teachers and a WHOLE LOT of energetic kindergarteners!
I will do my very best to support and encourage our students academically and socially during this critical part of their development so they may reach their full learning potentials!
