HELLO! My name is Jeanine Tustin and I am very excited to be a new addition to the New Lenox School District. I live in the area with my family, which includes my husband and three beautifully busy boys - ages 5, 7, and 9 years. We are often seen in the New Lenox community shopping and participating in a variety of sports.
I began my teaching career working as a daycare provider during college and secured teaching position in the Oak Lawn area upon graduating from St. Xavier. I served as an early childhood special education teacher for seven years. In 2008, my husband and I were blessed with our first child and I began my "at-home mother career." Eight years and three children later, I reentered the field of education as a preschool teacher in Manhattan for the 2016-2017 school year. I have joined the Spencer Trail kindergarten staff as resource teacher this year and am looking forward to working with a great team of teachers, involved parents, and a WHOLE LOT of energetic kindergartners!
I will do my very best to support and encourage our students academically and socially during this critical part of their development so they may reach their full learning potentials!
